Adult Information (Instruction) Class
When needed

For those inquiring and desiring to learn more about the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and its doctrines: What we believe, teach and confess. This class may lead to adult membership, if one desires to become a member. Members interested in refreshing the basics of Christianity are welcome to attend too.

Confirmation Class
Sunday 10:15-11:30am

For youth in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, who will learn the six chief parts as taught from the Scriptures and Luther's Small Catechism: 10 Commandments, Apostle's Creed, Lord's Prayer, Baptism, Lord's Supper and Confession and Absolution. They also learn the Liturgy, the Church calendar, the parts of the Church building, stewardship and fellowship. This will prepare them for a life in the Church and for proper reception of the Lord's Supper.

Book Study

Second & Fourth Wednesdays

7:00pm

Folks meet to discuss a book selected by Pastor. Works by authors such as C.S. Lewis and Max Lucado are discussed with a Lutheran perspective.

Sunday School/Adult Bible Study
10:15 Sunday Mornings

Sunday School: Every Sunday except during the summer. Share Jesus' love with children 3-18, teaching them to love God and all people.
Adult Bible Study: Adults mature in their faith and explore how God works in their lives through Books of the Bible, current topics and doctrines of the Church.

Women's "Sharing and Caring" Bible Study
10:00am Wednesdays

Open to all women interested in Christian fellowship and who desire to practically put their faith into practice. This Bible study covers a wide variety of topics based on the Scripture.

Luther League/Youth Nights

Schedule varies

St. John's youth in grades 6 - 12 meet at various times for building Christian friendships, deepening their faith in Christ, playing "unique" games, and having an opportunity for pizza, soda and prayer. Our youth also participate in District and Synod activities and gatherings.
